The general objective of this research was to determine the relationship between information and communication technologies and the contextual performance of the teachers of the Juan Pablo II Educational Center in Trujillo in the year 2021. The quantitative approach and the non-experimental cross-sectional design were used simple correlational. The data collection instruments were adapted for the information and communication technologies variable from Espichan (2017), and for the contextual performance variable adapted from William and Anderson (1991), which were validated through expert judgment. and, with the V in Aiken, a coefficient. 0.96 and 0.92 was obtained for each variable, since they are greater than 0.7, they are valid. Reliability was obtained through a pilot test carried out on 16 professors of the IEAC Pope John Paul II and with Cronbach's Alpha a coefficient of 0.80 and 0.756 was obtained for each variable and, being greater than 0.7, they were reliable for its application, same as It was carried out in October 2021 for a population of 37 teachers distributed in the levels of initial, primary and secondary of CEA Juan Pablo II. The results obtained were that the degree of usability of information and communication technologies is not very efficient, with an assessment of 59.5% and the level of contextual performance was moderate, with an assessment of 67.6% in teachers of the Juan Pablo Educational Center of Application II. To determine the statistical test to be used, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test was carried out, which showed that the data collected did not follow a normal distribution, so the non parametric statistical test Kendall's Tau-c was used, which determined There is a moderate correlation between the information and communication technologies variable with the dimension of interpersonal citizenship behaviors and there is no relationship with the dimension of organizational citizenship behaviors, both dimensions of the contextual performance variable. Finally, it was determined that there is a moderate correlation between the variables of information and communication technologies and the contextual performance of the teachers of the Juan Pablo II Educational Center of Application in the year 2021.
