Objective. Identify the risk factors for recurrence of high-grade intraepithelial lesion in patients admitted to Cayetano Heredia III ESSALUD Hospital in Piura in the period from January 2016 to December 2017. Material and Methods. Conized women were included due to high-grade squamous intraepithelial lesion with recurrence. In a 1: 3 ratio. A retrospective case and control design was followed. Results The following associated factors were determined: Gravidit y 4 or more (p = 0.002), age of first sexual relation less than 18 years (p = 0.009), number of sexual partners more than 1 (p = 0.034), family history of cervical Cancer (p = 0.063) Conclusion. It was concluded that the pregnancy of 4 or more, the age of first sexual relation less than 18 years or less, andria of more than one, and the family history of cervical cancer were factors associated with recurrences.
