Given the little knowledge of the study of hydraulic phenomena, erosion and sedimentation in causes of granular soils. The following research paper is presented which makes an analysis of the behavior between the Creager and Indian prototypes to determine which is the best proposal. First, the morphological process channel of the UPAO hydraulics laboratory was characterized, where the following measures were obtained: o Channel length L = 2.70 m, plus receiving tank of 0.40 m. o Channel width A = 0.43 m, characteristics of the channel are walls and bottom of the 5 mm tempered glass channel, it also has steel separators (tee and angle) of half an inch. o Channel height h = 0.40 m, the total height of the channel is H = 1.70 m. In addition to experimentally analyzing the operation of the equipment (water pump, water tank cylinder), where a 1 HP water pump was found under regular conditions. The granulometry of the material was determined, sieving material that passes through sieve No. 8, whose opening is 2.36 mm and is retained in sieve No. 16, thus a 4 cm layer of granular material was placed at the bottom of the channel. For its design and construction of the barges (Indian and Creager), the width of the morphological process channel A = 0.43 m was taken into account. Its construction of the bars of a width a = 0.42 m, length l = 0.15 m, and a height of h1 = 0.10 m was determined, then microporous plates were placed at both ends of the profile according to the shape of the profile of 5 mm, in order to fix the prototype in the channel. Through the studies carried out, the results obtained experimentally in the laboratory were compared with the results obtained from the Iber program, considering that the UPAO 16 morphological process channel is very small and when using the 4 cm high sediment, it will not be possible Perform the simulation in the program since this does not resemble a realsized channel, so it was decided to compare it by varying the flow rate with the use of two 1 HP and 2 HP pumps, using the landfill method where reliable results were obtained , two flows were obtained, the first for a 1HP water pump with a flow of 0.0023439 m3 / s and the second with a 2 HP water pump with a flow of 0.0034267 m3 / s. In the results, the sedimentation for the Indian type profile, when using a 1 HP water pump, whose average sedimentation volume VSP = 0.00167826 m3 , while the 2 HP pump, its sedimented average volume VSP = 0.00269062 m3 . For the Creager type profile, with a 1 HP pump, an average sedimented volume VSP = 0.00170306 m3 was obtained, while with a 2 HP pump, whose average sedimented volume VSP = 0.00281889 m3 . During erosion with the Indian type profile, when using a 1 HP pump, whose average volume eroded VEP = 0.00172490 m3 , while a 2 HP pump, its average volume eroded VEP = 0.00271192 m3 . On the other hand, for the Creager type profile, when using a 1 HP pump, an eroded average volume VEP = 0.00170504 m3 was obtained, while using a 2 HP pump, whose average eroded volume VEP = 0.00290718 m3 this indicates that the concentrations increase when discharges increase.
