OBJECTIVE: To determine the frequency of malocclusions in patients aged 6 to 12 years with adenoid hypertrophy at the Hospital de Alta Complejidad Virgen de La Puerta. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This observational, cross-sectional study was carried out between February, March and April 2023 and included a total of 147 pediatric patients aged 6 to 12 years with a diagnosis of adenoid hypertrophy who attended the Otorhinolaryngology Department of the Hospital Alta Complejidad Virgen de La Puerta. To determine the intra- and inter-rater reliability of the clinical measurement, a pilot study was carried out with 30 participants, resulting in Kappa values above 0.961%. The diagnosis of the adenoid condition was determined by the otorhinolaryngologist. RESULTS: A high frequency of class II malocclusion was found in patients with adenoid hypertrophy (76.9% of the entire study). CONCLUSION: The most frequent dental malocclusions found in patients with adenoid hypertrophy were class II malocclusion and open bite. The most frequent facial profile was convex, as well as the type of mouth breathing
