The objective of this research was to develop an economic technical study of the acquisition of an electronic ticket collection system and to measure the improvement in the profitability of the transport company “Salaverry Express SA” to the 2021. Whose problem lies in the constant increase in costs and operating expenses that, in the long term, do not allow to visualize the liquidity, much less the profitability of the company. It was decided to carry out the study of the 78 operational vehicle units of the fleet, gathering information on their technical characteristics, income, costs and expenses corresponding to each one. Subsequently, an analysis was carried out before and after the project was implemented using tools and knowledge in finance, such as: calculation of the total initial investment, weighted average cost of capital, income statement, relevant income statements, cash flow economic and financial, economic net present value (ENPV) and financial (FNPV), economic internal rate of return (EIRR) and financial (IRRF), debt service, sales projection methods and economic value added. Determining that, by acquiring a new electronic ticket collection system, the relevant economic and financial profitability of the company will increase by 44.59% and 57.7% respectively. The economic and financial cash flow of the project with replacement seeks a ENPV of S / 7,085,016.05, FNPV of S / 9,365,945.70, EIRR of 88.26% and IRRF of 255.16%.
