The purpose of this research was to develop the inventory model of periodic review in the finished products warehouse to reduce storage costs in the company REPALS COLORS S.A.C. from the city of Trujillo. For the development, data of the demand and costs of the previous year were obtained, after analyzing the data of the demand and the coefficient of variation, we identified that the Periodic review Model or Model “P“ was the most appropriate for our study, for file a variable lawsuit. The ABC analysis was performed and according to this the products belonging to category A (which have been the object of our study) were determined, then the acquisition, order and maintenance costs were determined in order to obtain the total cost of inventory management for the 2019 period. Subsequently, demand was projected with exponential, linear forecasts, logarithmic, polynomial and potential; for products belonging to category A of our ABC analysis; taking those where the lowest absolute mean deviation was obtained to develop the proposed model and determine its total cost of inventory management, under a confidence level of 95% for the period 2020. Finally, the economic impact was evaluated, where an increase in economic profitability was obtained in 28.46% compared to the 2019 period.
