This thesis carries out the road management of a contract established between the Provias Nacional with an executing company CASA SA, who, when carrying out the maintenance activities, do not comply with the purpose of the contract. This makes it necessary to carry out the identification of the activities carried out in road maintenance and conservation processes in order to be consistent with the main objective of each of the activities in order to meet the government's stated objectives of maintaining an adequate state of transtability. Once the analysis and evaluation was done, the work segments were determined, evidencing that what is indicated in the documentation does not adjust to the current situation. The maximum IMD was determined to be 750 and the minimum IMD 7 was evaluated in the evaluated sections of the Casma Huaraz Tingo María route. With the completion of the topographic survey, the location of new quarries and dumps was determined as a complement to their use in the improvement and conservation of the road. The method of the present work is descriptive, through photographic views, where it is evident the maintenance activities, used materials and machinery that are required in the different maintenance activities of a road. These activities have been considered of utmost importance to carry them out to protect and maintain the country's road heritage in terms of road infrastructure.
