The main purpose of the research report was to determine the effect of the addition of corn stover ash on the stabilization of soft subgrades, Villa Prado 2023. The methodology used was applied, explanatory level, non-experimental; the sample consisted of 3 laboratory tests, concerning density, CBR and the Plasticity Index of soft subgrades. The technique used was direct observation and the instrument was the data collection form, as well as photographic materials and laboratory cards. The results showed that the physicochemical properties of corn stover ash with the highest prevalence was silicon oxide (SiO2) at 61.23%. The optimum mix design of the additive in soft subgrades was 30%; because it improved the MDS from 1,720 gr/cc (natural soil) to 1,970 gr/cc; it improved the CBR (11.6%) and the IP (9.2%). Conclusion: The effect of corn stover ash on soft subgrades was statistically significant with p-values of .022, .005 and .026 for additions of 10%, 20% and 30%, respectively.
