The aim of this research was to identify the psychosocial factors associated to the pregnancy of adolescents in the Hospital Distrital Santa Isabel of the district El Porvenir, located at province of Trujillo, region La Libertad (Peru). The research was descriptive correlational in 39 adolescent pregnant women, who met the inclusion criteria. The pregnant women belonged to late adolescence in 69.23% and to intermediate adolescence in 30.77%. The identified psychological factors were 64.10% of the adolescents surveyed had a medium-risk sexual behavior and 67.58% had a dysfunctional family; among social factors, 51.28% of adolescents had complete secondary education; 61,54 were cohabitants and 38.46% had a reconstituted family, while 30.77% had a large family. In assessing the association between psychosocial factors and adolescent pregnancy, psychological factors, such as sexual behavior and family functioning, as well as social factors, educational level, marital status and family type, showed a significant relationship (p < 0.5).
