A correlational study has been carried out between Eating Disorders and the social climate of the family in students of a private university in Trujillo. To this end, a sample of 369 female students, between 17 and 25 years of age, of the different professional careers offered by the institution, with enrollment in force in the period 2017 - I, using for their evaluation the Inventory of Eating Disorders (EDI-3) and the Family Social Climate Scale (FES). The results show that, in terms of Eating Disorders, a low level in all of its indicators predominates in the female students evaluated, with percentages ranging from 53.1% to 63.1%; and an average level of Family Social Climate, in general and in its dimensions, with percentages ranging between 50.7% and 56.1%. Regarding the relational analysis, a very significant correlation was found between the indicators Obsession for thinness, Bulimia, Body dissatisfaction, Low self-esteem, Personal alienation, Interpersonal insecurity, Interpersonal distrust, Introceptive deficits, Emotional mismatch and Asceticism of Eating Disorders and the dimensions of the Social Climate in the Family (Relations, Development, Stability). Likewise, there is a very significant and average correlation between Perfectionism and Relationships.
