In the development of this thesis it has developed the approach and hydraulic design and structural artworks in the study area in the District of “La Jalca”, that comprising “La Jalca” road - “Nueva Esperanza” from 41 + 000 Km to 53+ 000 Km, belonging to the province of Chachapoyas, Amazonas Department. Development has been performed basic engineering studies such as topography and hydrology; determined that the topography of the studied area is hilly - undulating with vegetation typical of the edge of the jungle. Which is located at an altitude of 2159.36 meters above sea level, the procedure to determine the maximum flow for the design of the artworks has been applied, considering the collection area of water through small watersheds flows. Being the design flows of the bridges: Tinas 115.52 m3/seg, Quiramachay 94.25 m3/seg Applying the standards of the USBR for the artworks desing and technical standards of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications, it has made the design of the following civil artworks: considering a culvert of 8.40 m in length, with design flow 4.042 m3 / s drawer-type; culverts of 1.00 m of light, depth of 0.40 m, for bridge design “Quirimanchay” of light 16 m, taking as elements main beam of 0.60 x 1.50 m, beam diaphragm of 0.25 x 1.25 m, slab of 0.20 m thickness, width of track of 3.60 m; having sidewalks of 0.65 m wide; Tubs for light bridge 22 m taking as elements in main beam of 0.40 x 1.25 m, beam aperture of 0.25 x 1.05 m, 0.20 m slab thickness, width 4.50 m track, having sidewalks of 0.65 m wide. These dimensions are suitable for each artworks that comprising the section 41+000 Km to 53 + 000 Km of “La Jalca” road – “Nueva Esperanza”.
