We made analytic, observational, retrospective, cohorts. The population were integrated by 300 patients with chronic calculous cholecistectomy divided into two groups: minilaparotomy cholecistectomy or open cholecistectomy Results: The frequency of intraoperatory complications with minilaparotomy or open cholecistectomy were 2% y 6% (p<0.05) respectively. The frequency of postoperatory complications with minilaparotomy or open cholecistectomy were 2% y 5% (p>0.05) respectively. The frequency of conversion to conventional cholecistectomy were 3% Conclusions: Minilaparotomy modified is asociated with minor frequency of intraoperatory complications comparated to open cholecistectomy. Minilaparotomy is asociated with minor average to surgical time, hospitalary permanence and postoperatory pain comparated to open cholecistectomy.
