This research focuses on making a design of a photovoltaic system to supply part of the electricity consumption in a household type R4 in the city of Trujillo in 2016. The existing problem arises in the first place both with increased electrical and electronic devices at home, improper use of electrical and electronic equipment and the ability to migrate to another tariff plan higher cost per kWh if its projected consumption is increasing. Similarly the problem is defined in proposing a technological alternative to reduce power consumption in a residence type R4 in the city of Trujillo. Therefore, our overall objective is aimed at designing a system of alternative electricity supply to meet part of consumption of type R4 property from the identification of the energy consumption of the type R4 residence, consumption analysis teams they can be fed from the PV system and dimensioning the various components used in the design of the photovoltaic system. Then we select under criteria sized engineering teams all detailing its parameters and characteristics of optimal performance considering tolerances, safety margins, loss coefficients, etc. Finally, we analyze the results obtained from gathering information to evaluating feasibility of photovoltaic system design.
