The research work is a children's play program to improve oral language in the 5 year old students of the I.E. Nº 1661 The Joy of Knowledge of the city of Nuevo Chimbote, problematic reality, where alterations and inconsistencies were observed in the language, expressing sentences and short sentences, omitting and substituting phonemes in words that children use when expressing their ideas in dialogues and conversations with your classmates. To that end, the objective was to determine that the children's play program significantly improves oral language in 5-year-old students. The research was of the application type whose design is pre-experimental, pre-test and post-test with a single working group, using as a technique the observation and application instrument PLON-R Test, which allowed us to know the results of the difficulties of oral language in its three components: form, content and use; Considering a population of 45 students of 5 years, of the two classrooms: The Explorers and Creative Manitos, then through the selection of sample for convenience we worked with 25 children from the classroom “Creative Manitos“, to whom the game program was applied . Which is elaborated with 14 sessions considered under the classification of Hurlock who proposes games: sensory, motor, language, social, dramatic and competitive, developing in each of them different pedagogical activities, entertaining and motivating, which were supplemented with materials appropriate and relevant educational The result of this research has shown that the children's play program has significantly improved oral language in the 5 year old students of the I.E. Nº 1661, based on the Student's T test that resulted in a Tc.18,210 value that is higher than the tabular value Tt. = 1.714, achieving a normal level of oral language, in its three components: form, content and use , visualizing the relevant significance of the program in the 5 year old students.
