OBJETIVE: DETERMINE THE PATTERN OF BACTERIAL RESISTANCE OF URINE CULTURES PERFORMED AT THE HEALTH CENTER OF SAN JOSÉ IN THE ESTABLISHED PERIOD. METHOD: A DESCRIPTIVE, OBSERVATIONAL, RETROSPECTIVE TRANSVERSAL CUT STUDY WAS PERFORMED. THE POSITIVE UROCULTIVES WERE REALIZED IN 2017. RESULTS: OF THE 50 UROCULTIVES THAT COMPLETED THE INCLUSION CRITERIA, 43 CEPAS BELONG TO E.COLI, 6 TO CITROBACTER AND 1 TO PSEUDOMONA. E. COLI WAS RESISTANT IN ORDER DECREASING TO: TRIMETROPIM / SULFAMETOXAZOL (64%), NALIDIXIC ACID (58%), CEFUROXIMA (42%), CIPROFLOXACINO (40%), AMOXICILLIN / CLAVULANIC ACID (30%), LEVOFLOXACINE (26%), GENTAMYCIN (26%), NITROFURANTOIN (18%), CEFTRIAXONE (14%), AMIKACIN (0%), IMIPENEM (0%). 84% (N = 42) OF THE SAMPLE BELONGS TO THE FEMALE SEX AND 16% (N = 8) TO THE MALE SEX. CONCLUSIONS: E. COLI IS THE MOST FREQUENT UROPATOGEN, THE FEMALE SEX IS THE MOST FREQUENT, THE RANGE OF AGE OF 18 TO 45 YEARS IS THE MOST FREQUENT, TRIMETROPIM WITH SULFAMETOXAZOLO PRESENT THE GREATER PERCENTAGE OF RESISTANCE (64%), E. COLI NO PRESENT RESISTANCE TO IMIPENEM AND AMIKACINA.
