The thesis that we have called ““Legal Foundations in Favor of the Implementation of an Unemployment Insurance Law in Peru““, is aimed at determining the grounds by which the implementation of an unemployment insurance will benefit more adequately the workers who The so-called Compensation for Time of Services currently in force in our country. In this sense, the formulation of our problem was the following: in what way the implementation of unemployment insurance in Peru will protect workers from the contingencies of unemployment in Peru, against which we pose the following specific objectives : Investigate the advantages and differences that the legal figure of the CTS in Peru and the unemployment insurance, in relation to the protection of the workers; Analyze the convenience of implementing an unemployment insurance to replace Compensation for time of service; To know the main evolutionary figures of unemployment in Peru, in order to justify the implementation of unemployment insurance. Regarding the statement of the Hypothesis we have proposed the following: ““The implementation of the Unemployment Insurance in Peru, will protect workers from unemployment contingencies more adequately than compensation for time of service, by allowing to prevent the originating effects By the cessation of work for a longer period of time and enjoy a more comprehensive social security system. ““
