Describe the Clinical and Epidemiological characteristics of the Traumatism Encephalic Cranium in the emergency service of the Hospital deprived of Peru in January - December, 2014. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A descriptive study was realized - transversely and observational with 95 patients with clinical diagnosis of Traumatism Cranial Encephalon that they deposited to the emergency service of the Hospital Deprived of Peru In January - December, 2014. The information was processed by the software SPS version 20. There were used absolute and relative frequencies as descriptive measures. RESULTS AND CONCLUSIONS: The frequency of the Traumatism Cranial Encephalon was 3.57 % of the total of attentions in the emergency service of the Hospital Deprived of Peru. The masculine sex had a frequency of 82.1 % opposite to the feminine sex with 17.9 %. The group more affected was understood between the ages 15 to 59 years with 72.6 %. The accidents of traffic represent the first reason of Traumatism Encephalic Cranium with 74.7 % and of this 54.7 % they are produced by mechanism of acceleration and deceleration. The days of patients' major abundance with Traumatism Encephalic Cranium, are the weekends. It deposited 31.6 % of the cases before 2 a.m. of happened to the event, predominantly during the diurnal schedules 66.3 %. The loss of knowledge 45.3 % and the migraine 24.2 % was the most frequent identified symptoms. According the valuation of the Scale of Glasgow, the Traumatism Encephalic Moderate Cranium was the most frequent 43.2 %. There was a high conformity between the clinical manifestations and the findings tomográficos.
