Digestibility coefficients for crude protein, crude fiber, ether extract, ash and nitrogen-free extract from the leaves of mulberry (Morus alba) and eritrina were determined (Erythrina sp.) feeding guinea pigs, through the collection method Total stool. Ten male guinea pigs twelve weeks of age were used race Peru, an animal considered by metabolic cage equipped to collect feces. The feed lasted ten days, including an adjustment phase and another experimentation for five days each phase. Five animals were fed with mulberry leaves five with leaves eritrina. Samples of mulberry leaves and eritrina and feces were weighed, dried and stored in refrigeration until their analysis. In the laboratory, MS, PB, EE, FC and ash were determined, following the procedure of AOAC (Official Association of Agricultural Chemists). Both in the leaf meal samples and in the faeces. It was determined that the mulberry leaf contains 2962.9 kcal / kg of digestible energy and digestibility coefficients of dry matter 76.64%, 79.88% crude protein, ether extract 58.03%, 81.56% crude fiber and nitrogen-free extract 95.88%. Analysis sheet Erytrina contains 2657.84 kcal / kg of digestible energy and digestibility coefficients of dry matter 62.05%, crude protein 68.07%, ether extract 60.83%, crude 67.73% fiber and nitrogen-free extract 83.03%, values indicating that both can be included in the diet of guinea pigs.
