The present research aims at the study, formulation and implementation of the tools of Lean Manufacturing in the shoe manufacturing line of the company D 'Yomis for the reduction of waste. For the development, meetings were held with the manager and operator surveys to identify the company's problems, allowing the identification of the main causes of the problems that generate waste in the various workstations of the production process of footwear (lack of order and cleaning, on stock of raw material and inefficient movements). In coordination with the manager and the results obtained in the survey, the 5's methodology was implemented to reduce the accumulated mess and waste in the 5 processes of shoe production in the company D'Yomis (cut, rough, profiled , armed and enlisted) in addition to the two warehouses (semi-finished product warehouse and material store). The sales forecasts (June-December) will allow to reduce the stock of inventory, since the materials will be used in necessary quantities, without generating high levels of waste. For the reduction of inefficient times in the area of cut it was necessary to apply the improvement in its method of work and design of the station.
