The present study was to determine the level of knowledge of students in the private University Antenor Orrego in the academic year 2016 on the Pharmacological Interactions.. The study was prospective, transversal, descriptive and observational. The sample consisted of 132 students who agreed to freely participate in the study. The level of knowledge was assessed using a tool developed specifically for this study, previously validated (content, criterion and construct) through a pilot study with very good reliability (Cronbach's alpha: 0.579). The collected data were processed in an automated manner in SPSS Statistics 22.0 (IBM, Armonk, NY, USA), and then present the results in two-way tables with simple absolute and relative percentage frequencies. It was compared in level of knowledge on the use of local anesthetics according to the academic year of study the student and sex, for which the statistical test Chi homogeneous populations square was used. One significance level of 5% was considered. The results showed that 58.8% of the students present a poor level of knowledge while 38.1% had an intermediate level of knowledge, with respect to sex, not much difference was obtained, which indicates that the level of knowledge is not in Function of sex.
