Abstract: OBJETIVO: Determinar si existe relación entre la disfuncionalidad familiar con
la ideación suicida en adolescentes que asisten al Hospital II-1 de Recuay en el
2017.
MATERIAL Y MÉTODO: Se realizó un estudio observacional, correlacional
en 146 adolescentes del hospital II-1 de Recuay.
RESULTADOS: Tras aplicar el test de Apgar para estimar la disfuncionalidad
familiar, se halló que el 37% tuvo disfuncionalidad leve, 28.1% disfuncionalidad
moderada y 7.5% severa, mientras que solo el 27.4% perteneció a una familia
funcional. En la ideación suicida en los adolescentes, se observó que el 77.4%
tuvo deseos de morir en un nivel mínimo, mientras que el 19.9% el deseo de
morir fue moderado y solo un 2.7% manifestó tener un deseo de morir intenso.
Referente a la relación entre disfuncionalidad familiar y la ideación suicida, se
halló que existe una correlación positiva débil entre ambas variables, tras aplicar
el correlacional de Spearman y obtener un r=0.185 con una p=0.026.
CONCLUSIONES: La disfunción familiar leve, así como la ideación suicida
mínima son las que predominaron en la población adolescente. Además, existe
relación positiva débil entre la disfuncionalidad familiar y la ideación suicida.
