This research is descriptive correlational cross-section, developed during the months of January to March 2015 with the aim of determining the relationship between the level of information and self-care behavior in adults, with varices in Members lower in the Victor Lazarte Echegaray- Essalud Trujillo Hospital. The size of the sample was composed of 108 adults with varicose veins of the lower limbs, proportionally distributed and who met the inclusion criteria; for which two data collection instruments were used, the results show a higher level of information in a 47.22% of adults with lower limb varices a 38.89% and 13.89% Regular low. The degree of self-management of adults with lower limb varices was high at 53.70%, 32.41% on a regular basis and under 13.88%. Applying the chi square test statistic (p <0.001) it was reached to establish that there is a significant relationship between the level of information to the degree of self adults with varicose veins in the lower limbs.
