In both groups a pre and post test was applied, the latter one month after the educational intervention. Reliability of the instrument was determined with the technique of Kuder Richardson kr = 0.80. The level of knowledge about prenatal stimulation of pregnant women before the execution of the educational workshop was present in 4.3% for the case group and 2.1% for the control group, in the post-test group, in the group that received the 68.1% had a good knowledge level while the control group remained at 2.1%, this difference being statistically significant (p = 0.000).
