Evaluación del volumen de los sedimentos del embalse de la presa Gallito Ciego durante su vida útil para estimar la proyección del volumen sedimentado

Abstract

En este trabajo titulado EVALUACIÓN DEL VOLUMEN DE LOS SEDIMENTOS DEL EMBALSE DE LA PRESA GALLITO CIEGO DURANTE SU VIDA ÚTIL PARA ESTIMAR LA PROYECCIÓN DEL VOLUMEN SEDIMENTADO, se describen en forma general conceptos básicos necesarios para realizar un estudio de la sedimentación de embalses. Para el análisis se usarán las batimetrías del embalse, con este análisis se podrá determinar la sedimentación actual del embalse y determinar de qué manera afecta la vida útil del embalse, para ello es necesario hacer una comparación de las batimetrías La batimetría refleja la cantidad de agua que tiene a diferentes cotas. Debido a la sedimentación este irá decreciendo año con año. Para la sedimentación se obtendrán proyecciones y gráficos en los cuales se reflejará el estado del embalse Gallito Ciego; el método a utilizar será directo, el cual consiste en comparaciones de perfiles transversales y longitudinales arrojados de la batimetría y chequeando la reducción de áreas que ha sufrido el embalse; se crearán modelos que ayudarán a determinar el tiempo de vida útil, así como predicciones de sedimentación para años venideros.
