Efecto del butirato de sodio sobre los parámetros productivos en lechones post destete

Abstract

Con el objetivo de evaluar el efecto de butirato de sodio adicionado en la dieta de lechones sobre los parámetros productivos en la granja porcina “COCO”, ubicada en el distrito de Jaén, región Cajamarca. Se utilizaron 12 lechones machos destetados a los 30 días con un peso promedio de 8.95 kg las cuales fueron distribuidos con un diseño completamente al azar, en tres tratamientos y cuatro repeticiones DB, DB500 y DB1000 (DB más 500 g y 1000 g. de butirato de sodio por tonelada de alimento respectivamente).

Se utilizo un butirato de sodio micro encapsulado con 60% de concentración en el producto donde se evaluó ganancia diaria de peso (GDP), consumo diario de alimento (CDA) y conversión alimenticia (CA), a cuyos resultados se aplicó el análisis de varianza y la prueba de Tukey. Los mejores resultados fueron obtenidos con DB500 g y el DB1000 g en la fase de inicio. El uso de butirato de sodio en lechones post destete mejora la ganancia diaria de peso, consumo de alimento y mejora la conversión alimenticia.

With the objective of evaluating the effect of sodium butyrate added in the diet of piglets on the production parameters in the pig farm “COCO”, located in the district of Jaén, Cajamarca region. Twelve male piglets were weaned at 30 days with an average weight of 8.95 kg, which were distributed in a completely randomized design, in three treatments and four replicates DB, DB500 and DB1000 (DB plus 500 g and 1000 g of sodium butyrate per ton of feed respectively).

We used a micro-encapsulated sodium butyrate with 60% concentration in the product where we evaluated daily gain of weight (GDP), daily food consumption (CDA) and feed conversion (CA), to which the analysis of variance and the Tukey test were applied. The best results were obtained with DB500g and DB1000g in the onset phase. The use of sodium butyrate in postweaning piglets improves the daily weight gain, feed intake and improves feed conversion.
