The present research work on findings of haemoparasites transmitted by ticks in peripheral blood in canines of the district of Trujillo, aimed to determine the prevalence of hemoparasites using direct Wright staining of blood. We worked with 67 dogs. The results indicate that Rhipicephalus sanguineus is the main vector of hemoparasites with 55% (37/67). The prevalence for single infection corresponded to Anaplasma spp with 57% (21/67), Ehrlichia canis 11% (4/67) and Babesia spp 8% (3/67); The mixed coinfections corresponded to the associations of Anaplasma spp. With Ehrlichia canis 13% (5/30) and Anaplasma spp. With Babesia spp. 11% (4/67).
