In order to determine the level of depression, anxiety and self-esteem in women with breast cancer stage I-IV. The Regional Institute of Neoplastic Diseases. 2012; conducted a descriptive, cross-sectional prospective study in 130 women with breast cancer stage I-IV. The test of depression and anxiety of Hamilton and Rosenberg self-esteem test were used in this investigation. The level of depression in women with breast cancer stage I-IV is severe in 50%, moderate in 42% and absent in 8%. The level of anxiety in women with breast cancer stage I-IV is severe in 56%, moderate in 35%, absent in 9% and the level of self-esteem in women with stage IIV breast cancer is under 69%, medium in 29 % and higher in 2%. It is necessary to improve and provide a high standard of health care strategy of noncommunicable diseases: cancer from the primary care level that allows an integrated and multidisciplinary care management for patients with cancer.
