Abstract

Con el objetivo de determinar el nivel de depresión, ansiedad y autoestima en mujeres con cáncer de mama estadio I-IV. Instituto Regional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas. 2012; se realizó un estudio descriptivo, prospectivo de corte transversal, en 130 mujeres con cáncer de mama estadio I-IV. Se utilizó el test de depresión y ansiedad de Hamilton y test de autoestima de Rosemberg. El nivel de depresión en mujeres con cáncer de mama estadio I-IV es grave en 50%, moderada 42%, ausente 8%. El nivel de ansiedad en mujeres con cáncer de mama estadio I-IV es grave en 56%, moderada 35%, ausente 9% y el nivel de autoestima en mujeres con cáncer de mama estadio I-IV es bajo 69%, mediano en 29%, alto 2%. Es necesario realizar una implementación adecuada de la estrategia sanitaria de las enfermedades no transmisibles: cáncer desde el primer nivel de atención que permita el manejo integral y multidisciplinario del paciente con cáncer.

In order to determine the level of depression, anxiety and self-esteem in women with breast cancer stage I-IV. The level of anxiety in women with breast cancer stage I-IV is severe in 56%, moderate in 35%, absent in 9% and the level of self-esteem in women with stage IIV breast cancer is under 69%, medium in 29 % and higher in 2%. It is necessary to improve and provide a high standard of health care strategy of noncommunicable diseases: cancer from the primary care level that allows an integrated and multidisciplinary care management for patients with cancer.
