This study aimed to determine the adhesion of biofilm two absorbable suture thread, the yarns used were polyglactin 910 and catgut Luis Albretch simple in the hospital of the city of Trujillo in 2014. The prospective, transversal, comparative and experimental study was conducted in Luis Albrecht Hospital and included 16 patients and a total of 32 sutures suitable for tooth extraction. For data collection, each surgery was recorded with their respective number of clinical history of each patient and their respective sextant. The results show that the sutures 32, a group of 16 threads polyglactin 910 have an average (0.291) (+ - 0.137) and the threads of catgut Simple average (0.206) (+ - 0.106) compared to the t test, shows us that if there is more grip on the threads of polyglactin 910 compared to plain catgut. The results show that if higher average adherence exists in polyglactin 910 Since the value of P T student test is <0.5 (0.0295). It was concluded that increased adhesion of biofilm was sutures of polyglactin 910 catgut simple as providing an environment sextant greater adherence of biofilm are sextants I and IV.
