Objective: To determine the relationship that exists between in the nutritional status and the stage of development as Nolla of first permanent molars in children of 6 years who are cared for by the area of Pediatric Dentistry of the Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen of the city of Lima, 2014. Materials and methods: The population consisted of 77 children 6 years of age who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria detailed in this research and served in the area of Pediatric Dentistry of the Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen. The indicators were used BMI/age, height/age to assess the nutritional status of the child of 6 years and panoramic radiographs to assess the stages of development according to Nolla Results: In the present study, we found the following results: Height/Age were found four groups: high (1.30 % ), low height (16.88 % ), normal ( %) and 55.84 yr. risk low height (25.97 % ). BMI/age were found in three significant groups which were: Normal (67.53 % ), overweight (19.48 %) and obese (12.99 % ) .For effect of the study evaluated the first permanent molars with their respective panoramic radiograph. Making a total of 308 permanent first molars in the study. Later the data were collected, processed and analyzed by demonstrating the following results: The Stages of Nolla incumbents are the 7 and 8; in fact where the average in the study is the Stage 8 of Nolla; it was found that in the case of the present teeth 113 correspond to the stage 8 and 50 correspond to stage 7 of Nolla. Conclusions: Finally we can say that a 6-year-old boy with a normal nutritional status their dental development corresponds to a stage of Nolla 8. Any alteration in the nutritional status has an impact on development and tooth eruption of the first permanent molar.
