This work was performed at the facilities of the company ARATO PERU SA at Montegrande farm located in Chao district, Viru province, La Libertad – Perú department between January and March 2014. The objective was to determine the efficiency of three anionic detergent (Frother, Blanca nieve, Patito) for agriculture, industrial and domestic uses, respectively, to control the Brown spider mite, Oligonychus punicae on avocado variety Hass under field conditions. A single spraying was used with the three detergents on 16 trees around year and a half old, and later three samplings at two, four, and six days were performed after the detergent spraying to determine the efficiency nymphs and adults control of Oligonychus punicae. According to the results, Frother detergent had the best control (60%) to control Oligonychus punicae nymphs and for adults, the domestic detergent Patito got (58%) control towards the brown spider mite. The detergents had an efficient control over nymphs populations mainly at two days after the spraying of the treatment but through the later days all three treatmens lose residual effect.
