This research focused on the effect of three bio-fertilizers BIOL on the production of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.) Var. Great Lakes 659. The study was conducted in Nuevo Barraza, a small town located in the district of Laredo and the treatments were distributed in four block designs of 77 m2 with four replications in each one. Each crop treatments T1, T2, and T3 were analyzed four times, using doses of 2 m3 /ha, 3 m3 /ha and 4 m3 /ha, of the Bio-fertilizers BIOL respectively. Statistical analysis was carried and treatment means were compared to the control-untreated plants on leaf length, leaf width, the number of leafs per plant and the weight of 10 lettuce heads. The analysis of variance for the effect of the Bio-fertilizers on lettuce crops showed highly significant differences for the variable leaf length .The mean values for treatment T1, T2, and T3 were 21.00 cm, 22.25 cm and 22.50 cm respectively, while the mean value for the control was 19.00 cm. The lettuce heads had the highest width with the treatments T1, T2, and T3 (25.59 cm, 24.37 cm and 31.25 cm) with statistical differences compared to the control (21.12 cm). The mean values for the number of leafs/plant for treatments T1, T2, andT3 were 31.87; 32.21; and 32.15 leaves respectively. The comparison test of means for the weight of 10 lettuce heads showed that treatments T1, T2, and T3 had the highest weights (5.90 kg, 6.95 kg, and 7.50 kg) with statistically significant differences from the control (4.66 kg). The analysis of variance for the effect of bio-fertilizers on lettuce crops showed no significant differences between the treatments T1, T2, and T3 and the control for the variable leaf length. The control treatment showed the highest average. With respect to the leaf width variable, T1 and T2 treatments showed statistical differences compared to T3 treatment. The best performance was found with T1, which was higher than T2. The number of leaves of lettuce heads was not affected by applications of treatment T3. The control-untreated lettuce heads showed the highest statistical values. The comparison test of means for 10 lettuce head weight showed that the treatment with T1 had the highest weight with statistical differences compared to the control; the T2 and T3 treatments behaved statistically similarly with no statistically differences from the control with average weight of 0.047 kg, 0.096 kg and 0.411 kg respectively. Using Duncan multiple range tests, the results showed no significant statistical differences between T2 and T3 treatments for leaf length. However, T2 and T3 applications had statistical differences compared to the T1 application and the control. The study also showed that the different applications affected leaf width. Applications of T3 produced the highest leaf width with statistical differences compared to the other treatments. The lowest response was observed with the control. The amount of leaves was increased by all BIOL treatments as compared to the control untreated-plant values; however, there were not significant statistical differences among the treatments values. The different biofertilizers increased the amount of leaves compared with the control; however, there were not statistically significant differences between treatments with application of Biofertilizer BIOL. Finally, the Bio-fertilizers applied to the lettuce crop increased the weight of 10 lettuce plants compared with the control. Application of T3 (4 m 3 /ha of Bio-fertilizer BIOL) resulted in the highest weight (7.50 kg) with statistical differences compared to the other treatments.
