Participative techniques and their relationship with pronunciation, fluency, comprehension and discourse management of the oral expression of English language in students of Mechatronics of SENATI were studied in order to demonstrate its influence in that oral expression. It was postulated that the application of the participative techniques improves speaking English. Following a classic experimental design was applied a pre-and post -test, established five levels of evaluation: excellent, very good, good, regular and bad. The results of the evaluation in pronunciation, fluency, comprehension and discourse of management in the experimental group were located in the higher levels and showed significant differences (p <0.05) compared to control, according to the post test. The overall average speaking, in the experimental group, according to the post test was 16.86 and 11.00 in the pre test. Comparing the averages showed significant difference (p <0.05), as was obtained by comparing the global averages between experimental and control. We conclude that participatory techniques significantly improve learning speaking the English language.
