To determine if the premature and long break of membranes you will ovulate is a factor of risk for sepsis neonatal early in newborn children to term. Material and Methods: Analytical, retrospective study of cases and controls, where there was realized a review of the clinical histories of 237 newborn children to term, from January 2007 to July 2011, which they fulfilled with the criteria of selection. Results: There was obtained a total of 237 patients, of which 79 were cases and 158 were controls, and inside the group of cases 15.2 % had premature and long break of membranes you will ovulate and inside the group of controls 3.8 % had premature and long break of membranes you will ovulate. Being that 15.2 % of newborn children to term with sepsis neonatal had premature and long break of membranes you will ovulate, with what in agreement to our results the child whose mother I present premature and long break of membranes you will ovulate it is 4.53 times more inclined of presenting sepsis neonatal early (p = 0.002) that the one that did not have the mother precedent of premature and long break of membranes you will ovulate. Conclusions: The Premature and long Break of Membranes You Will Ovulate it is a factor of risk for Early Sepsis Neonatal in newborn children to term
