The present clinical trial compared the analgesic efficacy of paracetamol – tramadol and paracetamol – sodium naproxen in the management of posoperative pain in the thirds molars surgery impacted. The study was developed at the Clinical Stomatology at the Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego. Patients who required surgery impacted third molar were included randomly into 2 groups: 25 received paracetamol - 25 tramadol and paracetamol - sodium naproxen. The procedure was standardized, evaluated the analgesic efficacy using the Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) in 3 times: at 8, 12 and 24 hours. Statistical analysis was performed using the T-student with 5% significance. The results concluded that there is no significant difference in analgesic efficacy of paracetamol - tramadol and paracetamol - naproxen sodium after third molar surgery retained.
