The aim of this investigation was to evaluate the in vitro bleaching effect hydrogen peroxide and 35% carbamide peroxide 10% in the bond strength of brackets. We worked with a total of 33 human premolars randomly dividing them into 3 groups randomly (n = 11), In Group I (control) was applied whitening, In Group II Whitening Hydrogen peroxide 35% was applied, and Group III whitening carbamide peroxide was applied to 10%. Subsequently, all groups etchant (phosphoric acid 37% Densell ®) for 15 s was applied; the brackets were bonded with Transbond XT ® following the manufacturer's recommendations, debonding resistance was made by the “INSTRON TESTING MACHINE“ (2.00 mm / min). The results were obtained in Newton (N) and transformed into Mega Pascals (MPa), taking into account the surface of the bracket (6mm2) and analyzed with ANOVA tests of a factor (p <= 0.05) and statistical analysis of comparisons multiple HDS Tukey and Dunnett t test (bilateral). The results indicated that the ANOVA test for a factor there is no statistically significant difference between groups. Dunnett's t-test indicates that there is a statistically significant difference between Group I (no bleaching) and Group III (with whitening PC-10%) in reducing 2,878 MPa.
