The objective of this study was to implement risk management in the following work: IE No. 2342, Trujillo, Recovery of infrastructure of the I.E. No. 2342. The risk management method based on the guidelines of the PMBOK 7th edition guide was used. It begins with a general description of the project and mentions essential aspects for the development of the research. The risk management process was then determined by the following steps. A risk management plan defines activities and information that aid in the analysis and identification of potential risks through tools, techniques, and historical documentation. Individual risks impacting the project, qualitative risk analysis analyzing priority levels for each individual risk, and quantitative risk analysis using Monte Carlo analysis with @RISK V.8.2 software. enables more concise and productive development of risk response investigation and planning. Finally, preventive or mitigating actions were suggested for the risks identified through a matrix categorized according to the size and complexity that could occur in the different stages of the project.
