The general objective of this thesis was to establish the influence of fiberglass on concrete Mr = 45kg/cm2 for a rigid pavement in the city of Trujillo. For this, samples were taken with glass percentages of 1%, 2% and 3%, contrasting with the more traditional concrete design such as the resistance of 280 kg/cm2. The settlement improved positively with the addition of glass fibers in the concrete beams and in the cylindrical cores, which were subjected to laboratory tests. Subsequently to be able to carry out tests through cylindrical specimens for concrete mixture. Resulting in the higher the percentage of synthetic glass, the compressive strength decreases and the bending resistance falls between similar ranges, giving us as a product that the concrete sample with the addition of 1% of fiberglass has a compressive strength of 269.40 kg/cm2, resistance at flexion of 43.51 kg/cm2 at 28 days; with the addition of 2% fiberglass a compressive strength of 258.50 kg/cm2, flexural strength of 53.57 kg/cm2 at 28 days; addition of 3% of fiberglass a compressive strength of 241.50 kg/cm2, flexural strength of 40.43 kg/cm2 at 28 days, which incorporating 1% and 3% of glass does not satisfy what is necessary for a rigid pavement with a Mr= 45 kg/cm2. Coming to the conclusion that incorporating 2% glass is the most acceptable concrete mix design for a required rigid pavement design
