Nivel de madurez psicológica en adolescentes del sexo femenino y masculino de una institución educativa pública de Trujillo, 2021

Abstract

La madurez psicológica hace referencia al desarrollo de capacidades para ser independientes, relacionarse adecuadamente con otras personas y contribuir al bienestar de la sociedad, por lo cual, tiene una influencia importante en el desarrollo social, familiar y académico de los adolescentes de ambos sexos; por consiguiente, esta investigación de tipo descriptiva comparativa, tiene la finalidad de comparar el nivel de madurez psicológica en los adolescentes masculinos y femeninos; quienes pertenecen al tercero y quinto grado de una Institución educativa pública de Trujillo del nivel secundario en el año 2021. Considerando 114 estudiantes con edades entre 15 y 17 años, de los cuales 61 son mujeres y 53 varones. Se empleó el Cuestionario de Madurez Psicológica (PSYMAS) de Morales, Camps y Lorenzo (2012) la cual abarca tres dimensiones: Orientación al Trabajo (OT), Autonomía (AU) e Identidad (ID). En base al análisis de los datos recolectados, encontramos que a nivel general en ambos sexos predomina un nivel alto, no hallando diferencias significativas entre ambos géneros con (p>.05), sin embargo, en la dimensión Identidad, se observa una diferencia significativa (p<.05) entre los dos grupos. Se concluye que ambos sexos poseen similar nivel de madurez psicológica

Psychological maturity refers to the development of capacities to be independent, to relate appropriately to other people and to contribute to the well being of society, therefore, has an important influence on the social, family and academic development of adolescents of both sexes; therefore, this comparative descriptive research, its purpose is to compare the level of psychological maturity in male and female adolescents; who belong to the third and fifth grade of a Public Educational Institution of Trujillo of the secondary level in the year 2021. Considering 114 students aged between 15 and 17, of whom 61 are females and 53 males. The Psychological Maturity Questionnaire (PSYMAS) of Morales, Camps and Lorenzo (2012) was used, which covers three dimensions: Orientation to Work (OT), Autonomy (UA) and Identity (ID). Based on the analysis of the data collected, we found that at a general level in both sexes a high level predominates, finding no significant differences between both genders with (p>.05), however, in the Identity dimension, a significant difference is observed (p<.05) between the two groups.
