In this present research work was developed in the San Benito distric Contumaza, Province, Cajamarca, in the section of the Pueblo Nuevo highway San Benito by means of an applied investigation and according to the contrasting technique. Descriptive. Being the main objective; determine the design factors for the flexible pavement infraestructure, and thus improve the walkability of the San Benito District. A traffic study was carried out to determine the number of Equivalent Axles taking into account the volumes and projections of the traffic, whcih also allowed the use of procedures and methodologies to develop the design for the flexible pavemnet, then current standard; Materials Testing Manual of the Ministry of Transportation and Comunications to carry out our main objective, we determined the thickness of the paveent layers, using the AASHTO 93 methodology, whose desig was conformed by a thrid class road, located on a rough terrain, and consisting of a lenght of 23.90 Km. Likewise the design of road signs was developed, using current regulations Manual of Automotive Traffic Control Devices, for streets and highways 2016, of the Ministry of Transport and Communications. This present thesis, with the resultas obtained, will improve the walkability of the section of the Pueblo Nuevo - San Benito highway, also improving the livinng conditions of the San Benito District
