The present study has been carried out with the objective of specifying the relationship between socio-emotional skills and mathematical logical thinking in the I.E.I. N ° 210 “Sweet Virgin of Fatima” of Trujillo, 2019. It is a basic investigation, of a non-experimental type, with correlational design. The problem of study was: What is the relationship between socio-emotional skills and logical mathematical thinking in 4-year-old children of the I.E. N ° 210 “Sweet Virgin of Fatima”, Trujillo, 2019? The hypothesis was: Socioemotional skills are significantly related to logical mathematical thinking in 4-year-old children of the Initial Educational Institution No. 210 “Sweet Virgin of Fatima”, Trujillo, 2019. The study sample consisted of 40 4-year-old boys and girls of the I.E. N ° 210 “Sweet Virgin of Fatima”. Two instruments were used: a scale of socio-emotional skills in children (EHSE - 4 and 5) consisting of 40 items; and a structured observation sheet to measure mathematical logical thinking consisting of 32 items. The two instruments have been validated through expert judgment and show a good level of reliability: 0.97 and 0.91 respectively. The results indicate that socio-emotional skills are significantly related to the classification, seriation, number concept and quantity conservation dimension. In the classification dimension, Spearman's Rho value was 0.267 with a significance level of 0.025. In the seriation dimension, Spearman's Rho value was 0.395 with a significance level of 0.012. Regarding the number concept dimension, Spearman's Rho value was 0.189 with a significance level of 0.042, and in the quantity conservation dimension, Spearman's Rho value was 0.182 with a significance level of 0.020. In all dimensions, its level of significance is less than 5% (0.05) demonstrating that there is a significant relationship between socio-emotional skills and each of them. In conclusion, socioemotional skills are significantly related to logical mathematical thinking in 4-year-old children of the I.E.I. “Sweet Virgin of Fatima” from Trujillo - 2019, with a Spearman Rho coefficient of = 0.350, and a significance level of 0.027 confirming the correlation.
