This research addresses the structural study of a multifamily building in the Monserrate urbanization in the Trujillo district, Trujillo province - La Libertad department, aiming to determine the seismic vulnerability by applying the Benedetti-Petrini method and to be able to determine the risks that the structure is exposed. In the development of the research, the field inspection and technical tests (sclerometry test) were carried out, in the most important ones, which are the beams and columns, which the data obtained is processed through the ETABS modeling program followed by the Benedetti-Petrini method, determining through the program that the building is vulnerable and that it is exposed to damage due to the presence of a severe earthquake. In addition, the building was subjected to the analysis of the c this method consists of 11 parameters, which evaluate the conditions in which the multi-family building is located visually and with the information provided by the people who inhabit the building, regarding the age of the building. the building, state of conservation, structural and nonstructural elements. Thus, the structure presents a low vulnerability index. In conclusion, it was determined that the structure put through the Benedetti-Petrini method, presents a low vulnerability.
