My experience is described as a Safety and Health at Work and Environment Supervisor (SSOMA) in the company JUSACA PERU S.R.L, which is dedicated to providing maintenance services for electrical systems and manufacturing of metal structures. Upon assuming this role with the SSOMA area team, the tasks were divided to achieve the common objective which was to reduce occupational risks. After that, given the corresponding tasks, I found a poor reality of safety at work, and the lack of documentation that will support the security measures implemented for the different areas. During the SG-SST implementation process, we faced several challenges, including resistance from some employees who were accustomed to operating in an unsafe manner. Significant efforts in terms of communication and training were necessary to ensure that all workers understood the importance of SG-SST and were committed to it. In addition to this improvement in occupational safety, the company is now within compliance with legal regulations related to occupational health and safety. This achievement has strengthened its position in the market and increased the confidence of its clients in its operations
