This research work aimed to determine the degree of involvement of brachiocephalic airway obstructive syndrome (BOAS). It was carried out on 50 canines over 1 year of age, females and males of the French Bulldog breed that were treated at the San Francisco veterinary clinic during the period July - September, 2023. The BOAS test was carried out by applying the clinical examination of each canine, evaluating respiratory patterns, nasal passages, rales, stridors, inspiratory effort, cyanosis and/or syncope and lung/heart auscultation. The results were compiled in an Excel 2021 spreadsheet, then analyzed in RStudio V4.2.2 Software using the Chi square test. Regarding the functional classification of the BOAS, a statistical association is calculated with the respiratory pattern, nasal passages, rales and age; but stridor, inspiratory effort, cyanosis and/or syncope, as well as lung/heart auscultation did not present a statistical association. On the other hand, it is monitored that 90% (45/50) of the patients are in grade 0, implying that at an early age the clinical signs of BOAS are not so frequent, but they are slightly affected
