To determine the knowledge about halitosis in workers of a private clinic of Trujillo city, 2021. Material and methods: The following is a prospective, transversal, descriptive and observational study. An online survey was answered by 216 residing in Trujillo city, that were over 18 years old, through the virtual platform Google Forms. The results obtained were presented in double entry tableswith simple absolute frequencies, percentages, and totals. To determine the knowledge about halitosis in workers of a private clinic of Trujillo city, 2021. Thenon-parametrical Chi square test was performed using a significance level of 5%. Results: The study set the level of knowledge as bad, fair and good. It observed that the level of the staff of a clinic is good. According to sex, male have greater knowledge, according to age, people who are between the age of 40 and over, representing 48.48%, according to the marital status, divorced people, and finally, people belonging to the urban area. At the bivariate analysis, the relationship between each of them did not have a stadistically singnificant Conclusion: improving the knowledge of halitosis of employees under 40 years of age could have a good impact both for them and for any member of their family and for patient who has a doubt about this pathology
