Abstract: Determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre halitosis en trabajadores de
una clínica privada de Trujillo, 2021.
Material y método: El presente estudio es prospectivo, transversal, descriptivo y
observacional. Se encuestaron a 216 colaboradores, residentes en la ciudad de
Trujillo, mayores de 18 años, que trabajan en una clínica privada de Trujillo a través
de la plataforma virtual Google Forms, y los resultados obtenidos se presentaron
tablas de doble entrada con frecuencias absolutas simples, porcentajes y totales.
Para determinar el nivel de conocimiento sobre halitosis se utilizó la prueba no
paramétrica Chi cuadrado con un nivel de significancia de 5%.
Resultados: El estudio consigno el nivel de conocimiento en malo, regular y bueno.
Se observa que, el nivel del personal de una clínica, es bueno. Según sexo los
hombres tienen mayor conocimiento, según edad las personas que se encuentran
entre la edad de 40 a más años que representan un 48.48%, según estado civil las
personas divorciadas y por ultimo personas pertenecientes al área urbana. Al
análisis bivariado la relación entre cada una de no tienen una relación
estadísticamente significativa.
Conclusión: Mejorar el conocimiento de halitosis de los colaboradores menores de
40 años podrían generar un buen impacto tanto para ellos como a sus familias y a
paciente que tenga una duda sobre esta patología.
To determine the knowledge about halitosis in workers of a private clinic of Trujillo city, 2021. Material and methods: The following is a prospective, transversal, descriptive and observational study. An online survey was answered by 216 residing in Trujillo city, that were over 18 years old, through the virtual platform Google Forms. The results obtained were presented in double entry tableswith simple absolute frequencies, percentages, and totals. To determine the knowledge about halitosis in workers of a private clinic of Trujillo city, 2021. Thenon-parametrical Chi square test was performed using a significance level of 5%. Results: The study set the level of knowledge as bad, fair and good. It observed that the level of the staff of a clinic is good. According to sex, male have greater knowledge, according to age, people who are between the age of 40 and over, representing 48.48%, according to the marital status, divorced people, and finally, people belonging to the urban area. At the bivariate analysis, the relationship between each of them did not have a stadistically singnificant Conclusion: improving the knowledge of halitosis of employees under 40 years of age could have a good impact both for them and for any member of their family and for patient who has a doubt about this pathology
