This work was developed on the roads of the Los Huertos sector, taking Integración Avenue and Alan García Avenue as a study, we used applied research. The main objective was to carry out the structural design of the pavement to improve walkability, that is why The analysis and observation of all the conditions of our study area was taken into account. In this project, a flexible pavement and a rigid pavement were designed, always taking into account the recommendations decreed in the Highways Manual: Geology, Geotechnical and Pavement Soils, the National Building Regulations: Standard CE.010 Urban Pavements and Standard GH .020 Urban Design Compounds, very useful for designing the thickness of the layers of both pavements. The basic studies of soil mechanics were carried out and a soil with Silty Gravel (GM) was obtained, presenting a CBR of 31.86% and the second CBR of 35.81%, an ESSAL of Av. Integracion = 3 was obtained for the flexible pavement, 515,923.35, for Av. Alan Garcia = 2, 980,281.07. The results obtained for the rigid pavement were: for Av. Integracion = 3, 803,865.69 and for Av. Alan Garcia = 3, 174,691.98. The final results for the flexible pavement design were a 5.00 cm asphalt layer, a 20.00 cm base and a 15.00 cm subbase, with a budget of S /. 19, 379,175.01; for rigid pavement, a concrete slab of 22.00 cm and for its base of 15.00 cm with a budget of S /. 24,083,427.03
