respectivas conclusiones y recomendaciones.
The purpose of this Professional Sufficiency report was to systematize the author's experience in the field of audiovisual communication, over more than a decade, especially in the area of film montage. Its importance lies in showing an overview of this activity in Peru and the challenges it poses. The objectives of the paper were to analyze and evaluate the author's contributions to the solution of specific problems in the area of work; to organize updated theoretical information on the different approaches to film Editing; and to evaluate the tasks performed as a film editor in order to generate good practices and desirable results. The used methodology consisted in the review and analysis of the techniques employed in film editing, specifically in the documentary Mujer de soldado, by Patricia Wiesse, a film in which the author worked precisely as editor. The main inconvenience for the writing of this document has been the lack of models for consultation, since this is a modality that is rarely used. This report consists of four chapters. The first describes the author's professional experience; the second provides information on this report and its methodology; it also provides a conceptual framework on film editing and its main narrative models. The third chapter reconstructs the author's work experience editing the documentary Mujer de soldado and analyzes the decisions made during this job. The fourth chapter details the experiences and competencies gained in the author's professional work. The report ends with conclusions and recommendations
