The main objective of this research work was to apply Lean Manufacturing tools to reduce waste and analyze its contribution to productivity in the production area of Calzados Celeste SAC. The study began by carrying out a diagnosis of the waste in the current situation of the company, so for this, it was necessary to use the observation technique where the current reality was captured, highlighting the deficiencies found in each area. In addition, each process was described by means of a process analysis diagram to determine the cycle time of each one of them and to be able to compare it with the Takt Time; In this way it was possible to identify possible deficiencies and preliminary improvements in the production area. Subsequently, with the use of the Cause Effect diagram, the application of Lean Manufacturing tools was determined, which were proposed for Kaizen outbursts in a VSM diagram, these being 5'S, Kanban, Heijunka and TPM, thus demonstrating the estimated reduction as part of the improvement. of the processes of 17.77 soles per dozen in raw material and 970.06 soles in production time for 1801 pairs of footwear and an increase in productivity from 19.41 to 22.01 which allows to conclude that the application of Lean Tools significantly influenced the reduction of costs of production of 19% and productivity increase of 2.6%.
