Conocimiento de los estudiantes de Estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego sobre el manejo de Traumatismos Dentoalveolares, Trujillo Marzo 2021

Abstract

Determinar el conocimiento de los estudiantes de Estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego sobre el manejo de traumatismos dentoalveolares, Trujillo, marzo-2021. Material y Método: El estudio fue de tipo descriptivo, prolectivo y observacional, y el número de estudiantes evaluados fue 115. Se utilizó un cuestionario previamente validado, el cual consta de 18 preguntas, que se utilizó para evaluar el nivel de conocimiento de los estudiantes de Estomatología de la Universidad Privada Antenor Orrego sobre el manejo de traumatismos dentoalveolares. Dicho cuestionario fue sometido a confiabilidad mediante una encuesta piloto y la prueba Sperman-brown (Rs=0.728). Resultados: Se obtuvieron como resultados que, ningún estudiante de Estomatología tiene un conocimiento sobresaliente en el manejo de traumatismos dentoalveolares, sin embargo el 14.8% de ellos obtuvo un buen nivel de conocimiento, el 55.7% posee un conocimiento regular y un importante 29.6% fue deficiente. Conclusiones: ninguno de los estudiantes obtuvo un nivel de conocimiento sobre el manejo de traumatismos dentoalveolares sobresaliente, de igual modo, el 32.3% de los estudiantes de 10mo ciclo obtuvo un nivel de conocimiento Bueno, en comparación a los demás ciclos de estudio. La diferencia del nivel de conocimiento entre género no fue significativa.

To determine the knowledge of Stomatology students from the Antenor Orrego Private University on the management of dentoalveolar trauma, Trujillo, March-2021. Material and Method: The study was descriptive, prolective and observational, and the number of students evaluated was 115. A previously validated questionnaire was used, which consisted of 18 questions, which was used to evaluate the level of knowledge of the students of Stomatology of the Antenor Orrego Private University on the management of dentoalveolar trauma. This questionnaire was subjected to reliability through a pilot survey and the Sperman-brown test (Rs = 0.728). Results: The results obtained that, no Stomatology student has outstanding knowledge in the management of dentoalveolar trauma, however 14.8% of them obtained a good level of knowledge, 55.7% have regular knowledge and an important 29.6% were deficient. Conclusions: none of the students obtained an outstanding level of knowledge about the management of dentoalveolar trauma, in the same way, 32.3% of the 10th cycle students obtained a Good level of knowledge, compared to the other study cycles. The difference in the level of knowledge between genders was not significant
